Solebox is one of those very rare shoe collaborators that disappoint. Only disappointment I have is the struggle of getting any one of their releases. This, will most likely be another one of those days. Hikmet once again teamed up with adidas on a pair of Guidance 93. A model that was brought back from the adi vault this year. The make-up is very simple and tells the story of the colorway inspired by the Berlin city flag; similar to their ‘Then and Now’ pack from 2010. The silhouette comes in black, tonal grey suede and has hints of red through out the shoe. Simple, clean and a beauty…

If it’s not broken, leave it as is. That’s what I can say about this colorway. Solebox didn’t go crazy with materials and details to try and invent the wheel. They kept it to what they know and pushed out another nice release. Sometimes, old colorways switched up can prove right over and over again. With this, Hikmet pulled out another banger by keeping it subtle. Well done.

In interested you can pick up a pair on the 29th of November 2014 at Solebox in Germany, with an online release after. It will be released later on at adidas Consortium retailers worldwide. Also, I can’t seem to embed it here, but you can watch a video of the sample shoe. Enjoy the photos…
