The popular Free Run series from Nike gets a much needed update this month with the launch of the new Free Run 2+. The shoe designed with a curved shape is a great neutral runner for racing, strengthen the feet or some speed-work. It’s can also be a good tool for daily training like strides or gym drills. But, some of us just want it for our daily casual walks…
These are already in some shops overseas and this month will see the general release in the US. On top of that, you can expect them to be on Nike iD with the option to choose the Free 3.0 out-sole and a pretty big marketing campaign from Nike. Samples should be arriving soon, with some nice display’s at the Nike store. Of course, yours truly will be there to get the images for you and most likely take a crack at an iD.
Be the first to check out some of the colors below and some more specs for those that need to know…
*Mid-sole is made from Nike’s lightweight material called Phylite that doubles as the out-sole also.
*BRS 1000 carbon rubber is located at the bottom heel and and bottom toe-area for durability.
*Overlays are strategically placed for breathability, comfort and they allow you to have the option to use the shoe without socks.
*There is a Crash Pad in the heel area that reduces the rate/degree of pronation and shock. It’s also gender specific.
*Nike + system is implemented into the shoe.
