Exclusive: Nike Air Max 1 iD Swatches 2011 S/S

Back from my trip to Nike iD today, I present you with the swatches for the Nike Air Max 1 iD 2011 S/S. Not only will you see up-close and detailed shots of each material, but you’ll get to see two new fabrics introduced to the AM1 palette. One being the Trail Woven which looks like another ballistic mesh in a canvas form. The other is something called Velvet Mesh. Think of a very plush suede, just not from leather what so ever, that slightly resembles a very soft towel. At least that’s the best way that I can describe it…

The above image of Velvet Mesh will be a new option that will be introduced to the palette soon. Along with it will be the Trail Woven Mesh (image below). The only thing not known is if they will go public or be an exclusive in-studio option. But, as soon as I know, you’ll know. So for now catch images of both new fabrics below, with captures of the Boot Leather that is still in-studio exclusive (only available at a Nike iD studio, not online), Regular Mesh, and Crackled Patent Leather.

I’m looking forward to making an iD with the Velvet Mesh. I like the way it looked and it felt really smooth to the hand. Not crazy about the Trail Woven Mesh at all, but that’s just me. I’m sure there will be others that will like it. Enjoy the pics for now and expect images of the AM1 samples in about a week or two. Also, the AM1 samples were created by the Nike iD Team this time around.

On another note, I didn’t color correct any of these images. Just don’t have the time these days, but you can view all the colors at the Nike iD builder.

  1. Sup V! Great work as always with the iD info! Question… is the “Alarming” option pictured? I can’t seem to locate it. I’m thinking it’s about equivalent to Solar Red & Infrared, or is it something else?

    • It’s there and it definitely looks like solar red, but slightly toned down. If you look at images 5 and 6 you can see a peach color. Thats the Alarming hue. It’s a bit brighter than that though. the The 95 iD that just went up for preview and has the solar red hue.

Sorry for the poor images, I just got there a little late and had to rush these pictures because they were closing. But, I’ll make up for it with some news I will be shedding soon about Nike iD 2011 part 2. 😉
