Anyone keeping track of the Adidas Originals Consortium series can tell you that it’s been a very successful effort by all parties included. So to keep the shoes walking, Adidas responds with a second venture in the series by dropping 4 more models last week. One of these is the above DQM make-up.
The Adidas Originals Consortium series was designed to give the collaborative parties a vision of their own for each shoe. With this idea, DQM (Dave’s Quality Meat) took the Adidas New York model and made appropriate material changes to suit the rugged NY streets. They started with a primary Black slate and constructed the entire upper of a water resistant canvas fabric. The tongue, lining and heel tab have been left to a Black leather as a material contrast to the canvas upper. The Delinger webbed midsole is left in white, with the webbing in Navy. One DQM logo and one shoe name have been embossed into one stripe ,separately, on each shoe. D-rings compromise the upper 4 lace eyelets for a secure tie-up. Than, they added Navy Blue to the 3 stripes, sole and laces to go.
These wet weather shoes are readily available. You can get them at DQM in-store and online.
